July HR Law Lunch & Learn: Disciplining or Firing a "Protected" Employee the Legally Sound Way

Disciplining or terminating an employee can be stressful under any circumstance, but even more so when the employee falls into a "protected class" (just about every employee does) and/or is threatening to sue you (just about every bad employee does). It can be scary to take the necessary disciplinary steps, but bad performance or workplace behavior is not going to correct itself. Join us as we discuss best practices and legally sound ways to address disciplinary or termination issues under "risky" circumstances.

Speaker Julie M. Young Attorney Julie M. Young uses her 19 years of legal experience and HR expertise to help employers navigate the increasingly complex world of employment law.

Doors open at 11:30 for networking and lunch. Presentation from 12:00-1:00pm. Q&A session from 1:00-1:15pm.
