January HR Law Lunch & Learn: Work-from-Home: HR law in Light of the "New Normal"

PLEASE NOTE: This event is being rescheduled to a date in the near future. Please check back for more information coming soon.

Regardless of how much we may want the "old normal" back, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced workplace changes that are here to stay. But HR laws are not changing with it. Instead, employers will have to modify their ways to ensure that the "new normal" complies with existing laws. This is no truer than when your employees are working from home.

Join attorney Julie M. Young and JMY Law for a holistic discussion about HR law in light of new workplace dynamics. We will cover:

  • Overtime and wage considerations your out-of-site workers
  • New policies and procedures that reflect new workplace dynamics
  • Confidentiality, safety, and the home office environment
  • Making work-from-home work for everyone for the long-term
  • Other legal things to think about with your at-home workforce

Speaker Julie M. Young Attorney Julie M. Young uses her 25 years of legal experience and HR expertise to help employers navigate the increasingly complex world of employment law.
